1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Spontydex mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Spontydex. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 17 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You are not prohibited from using the App under applicable laws

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Share content that is offensive, obscene, or inappropriate
• Spam, advertise, or solicit other users without permission
• Collect or harvest user data without consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App
• Create meetups for illegal activities

5. Meetups and User Content

5.1 Meetup Creation

When creating meetups, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information about the meetup
• Ensuring the meetup is legal and safe
• Managing attendees and communications
• Complying with local laws and venue rules

5.2 User Content

You retain ownership of content you create. By posting content, you grant Spontydex a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App.

You are solely responsible for your content and any consequences of posting it.

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our policies.

6. Safety and Real-World Meetups

We recommend:

• Meeting in public places for initial meetups
• Telling someone you trust about your plans
• Trusting your instincts and leaving if uncomfortable
• Not sharing sensitive personal information
• Verifying meetup details before attending

Spontydex is not responsible for any interactions or incidents that occur during meetups.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Spontydex and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (such as Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, and Maps). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Results from using the App will be accurate or reliable
• The quality of any content or services will meet your expectations

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPONTYDEX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Personal injury or property damage
• Any conduct or content of third parties
• Any incidents occurring during meetups

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spontydex and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your content or meetups

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Spontydex operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Spontydex regarding the use of the App.
